Who we are
WalletCraft is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address], [Country] (“we”). For anything about your data, write to hello@walletcraft.app.
This website
walletcraft.app sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
While you browse, your browser tab remembers where the visit started (for example a link on a pass or the site that referred you) and sends it along if you request access. It is deleted when you close the tab.
When you request access, we receive the details you enter:
- your name, work email and company;
- optionally your website, what you plan to issue, expected volume and your message.
We use them only to reply to you and, if we work together, to set up your account. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract. We keep a request for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer, and delete it sooner if you ask. Our servers also keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and time of a request) to protect the service from abuse.
Pass pages
Businesses using WalletCraft send their customers links to pass pages, where the pass can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. For those pages, the business is responsible for its customers’ data and we process it on its behalf.
To show businesses how many people open their pass pages, we count visits without cookies: a visit is recognised by a one-way hash of the IP address, browser identifier and pass, mixed with a random value that is replaced and deleted every day. We don’t store IP addresses, and visits can’t be linked from one day to the next.
Who else processes data
We use a hosting provider to run the service ([hosting provider, location]). Apple delivers pass updates to devices through its push notification service. Google stores passes saved to Google Wallet and syncs them to devices; when a pass is saved or removed, Google tells us which pass it was, without the person’s Google account details. We don’t sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it, by writing to hello@walletcraft.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
